What is Construction?

        Construction is the process of constructing building and infrastructure like electric power, oil and gas, water and wastewater, communications, transportation, and the collections of buildings. Construction is starts with planning, designing and financing.

Construction activity has been in existence since the caveman started building his dwelling. Construction has created many wonders in the world. Construction has provided many facilities for the benefit of the mankind. Construction is a major component of the new investments.

Building construction projects: Building construction the largest segment of construction business providing shelter and services for habitation, educational, recreational, social and commercial needs.

Infrastructure construction project: These projects involve the use of large quantity of bulk materials like earth, steel and concrete. These include dams, canals, highways, airport, railways, bridges, docks and harbours, nuclear power plants.

Industrial construction projects: These include steel mills, petroleum refineries and many other manufacturing and processing industries.

Special-purpose construction-related projects: These include projects for protecting the environment, utility service complex operations, etc.

Ever since the dawn of civilization, man has been involved in some form of construction activity. Even in ancient times, man created architectural marvels, which came to be regarded as the wonders of the world.

         It is more accurately referred to simply as the bell tower, or campanile.The Pisa tower is one of the four buildings that make up the cathedral complex in Pisa, Italy, called Campo dei Miracoli or Piazza dei Miracoli, which means Field of Miracles
